• Active BLS certification required
• Washington State RN License required (pending license submissions accepted; temporary license takes ~4 weeks)
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Skills & Requirements

• Experience with Epic EMR system required
• Scrubbing required for RNs
• Trauma experience required
• Robotics experience (DaVinci) required
• Ability to float to Walters Surgery unit

Work Environment

• Unit: OR and OR Tech
• Number of OR suites: 11
• Cases per day: 30-40 (including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, plastics)
• Shift length: 10-hour shifts (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM), flexible to 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Call schedule: 2-3 calls every 6 weeks (weeknights and weekends)
• Call response time: 20 minutes for trauma cases, 30 minutes for non-trauma
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Unit/Department specific orientation provided
