Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT required; CRTs not accepted)
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of Respiratory experience (first-timers accepted only if 3+ years experience)
• Pediatrics Experience: Required
• Weekend Requirement: As needed (no weekend block schedule, but weekend block may be considered)
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (local radius rule: 100 miles)
• Licensing: Tennessee license required at time of submission; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications Required

• RRT Certification: Mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or ARC only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for RRT
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for RRTs going to pediatric facilities
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required if assigned to NICU or newborn areas
• State License: Tennessee license or multistate license required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Driver’s License: Must be included with submission
• Background Checks:

  • Statewide, county, federal searches
  • Education verification (diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu)
  • Sex offender search
  • Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (TN only)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year, attesting ability to meet job demands
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
  • Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (proof of vaccination or positive titer required; declinations not accepted)
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance accepted)
  • Fit test for 3M N-95 mask within 1 year (annual renewal required)

Additional Requirements

• Photo for Badge: Must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
• References: Two recent professional references required
• Skills Checklist & Evaluations: Must be current and updated annually as applicable
• Dress Code:

  • Navy blue scrubs for RNs
  • Caribbean blue scrubs for RRTs (specific locations)
  • No prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
  • Business casual with lab coat for RN Case Managers

Notes

• No first-time travelers accepted unless they have 3+ years of experience
• All Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be included at time of submission
• Locals within 100 miles are not accepted for this travel position
