Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Richmond, Virginia

Experience Requirements

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 60 days of start, including all states lived/worked in past 7 years.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
• Education verification or proof of diploma from accredited programs.
• Fingerprinting: Virginia State Police National Criminal Background Check required for certain units; results can pend but proof of submission must be on file.
• References: 2 references required.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination required.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (Q-gold/T-spot within 30 days or two PPDs as specified).
• TB questionnaire required annually regardless of TB status.
• Titers required for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella; booster required if low titer.
• Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination required.
• Drug testing within 60 days of start (9-panel minimum, instant screens not accepted).
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required for 2025-26 season.

Competency & Facility Specific Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
• Color blindness testing required.
• Abuse reporting competency required (covering physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect/exploitation).
• Orientation includes exams such as Pharmacology, Point of Care Testing, Airborne Precaution Mask Fitting, and BKAT for certain nursing roles.
• Completion of assigned learning modules during orientation (approx. 6 hours).
