Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in interventional radiology, performing minimally invasive interventional techniques using radiological technology.
• Act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients.
• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments.
• Make recommendations to the referring physician, patient, and patient’s family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist.
• Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologist.

Requirements

• Specialty: Technologist with Cath Lab experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission.
• ARRT certification required (RCIS certification will not be accepted).
• COVID and Flu vaccinations required (no declinations approved).
• Must have a 30-minute response time for call.
• Active professional license (verification must be less than 30 days old).
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than 1 year old).
• Two supervisory references completed within the last year.
• Certifications must be active at time of submission.

• Facility uses Cerner EMR system.
• Level II Trauma center.
• The hospital features private patient rooms and a design focused on efficiency and patient healing.
