Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)

• Valid RN License with recent online verification (within 30 days)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine (booster required by Sept 2025; declination accepted except CA or IL)
• Influenza Vaccine (required annually; declination accepted except CA or IL)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer
• Hepatitis B Series (proof of vaccination required; titers not accepted)
• Varicella (proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer)
• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) - current vaccine required; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) Tuberculosis test (within 5 years; chest x-ray if positive)
• Fit Test for Iowa (1860 mask only)
• Physical/Health Statement (exam within last year confirming fitness to work)
• 9 or 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start)
