Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Sonographer

Location: Dyersburg, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call

Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Sonographer performing ECHOs and TEEs)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Certifications:

  • ARDMS (RDCS AE) required
  • BLS required
• Epic Experience: Must have Epic experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on profile)
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Compliance & Documentation

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
• I9 and E-Verify documentation required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year of start (no PAPR allowed)
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (no declinations or exemptions accepted)
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete application/resume required

Additional Certifications & Competencies (as applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• NIH Stroke Certification (for RNs)
• Other specialty-specific certifications as required

Facility Specific Requirements

• EPIC Test Out required for all candidates (one attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation)
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
