Cardiovascular (CVL) Tech - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Job Summary

  • Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy for daily procedural caseload.
  • Provide emergent care as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
  • Ensure procedure rooms are prepared and compliant with local, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology (EP) procedures experience performing scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording duties. (Preferred experience is 3 years, required is 1+ years; use higher value)
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment (prior travel experience required).
  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
    • Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program
    • Radiology
    • Respiratory Therapy
    • Paramedic program
    • Surgical Technology
      OR
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Certifications & Licensure

  • Required:
    • RCIS or RCES
    • BLS
    • ACLS
