Respiratory Therapist - Prescott Valley, Arizona

Job Details

Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM to 6:30 PM), includes weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Call or Standby: No
Floating: Yes, may be required to work at multiple campuses
Solo Shifts: No solo shifts

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable

Experience Requirements

Adult critical care experience with confidence in this area
No explicit mention of prior travel experience required

Patient Population & Work Areas

Primarily adults, some pediatric and infants in ER setting
Work areas include ER, ICU, CVICU, and wards
No outpatient services

Job Duties

Perform ABGs (arterial blood gases)
Perform EKGs
Ventilator management (Avea, LTV, Zoll vents)
BiPAP, CPAP, general respiratory therapy work
Assist with intubation (not independently)

Orientation

1 day Neonatal Orientation
3 days department-specific orientation

Additional Information

Dress code: Black scrubs, no logos
Hospitalist or Intensivist available in-house
