Description

Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Specialty: Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Cerner.
Orientation available on multiple upcoming dates.

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification (required).
- Mandatory reporter status (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome (no prior travel experience required).
Additional Documentation:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Copies of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
Location Requirement:
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

Night shift differential: 16 hours.
Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x.
Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum.
On-call pay available.
Charge/Precept pay available.
