Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.

Work Schedule & Requirements

• 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.
• EMR system used: EPIC.
• Night shift bonus: 16 hours.
• Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x.
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum.
• On-call pay: $9/hr.
• Charge/Preceptor pay: $6/hr.

Required Certifications & Experience

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required (highest stated requirement)
• First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience NOT required)
