Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Temp)

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Orientation occurs weekly, every Monday.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours).
• Local candidates are NOT eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience required (must have at least 24 months of current experience).
• Licensure: Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA or ARC required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Other:

  • Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapist/RRT discipline required
  • Driver’s license required
  • Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred
