Job Opportunity: IR Lab RN (Interventional Radiology Nurse)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Full-time position in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab
• Required experience: 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
• Work schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 4 days per week
• On-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time

Required Credentials & Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Must be AHA certified
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Must be AHA certified
• Current nursing license with primary source verification (Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start)
• Pharmacology exam (minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years)
• Specialty exam in Interventional Radiology (minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years)
• Color Vision test (updated every 3 years)
• Core Competencies training (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics; minimum 80% score, updated yearly)
• EKG exam (minimum 80% score, updated as required)
• Fit Test (annual respiratory protection fit testing)
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination documentation
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Varicella (two vaccines or immunity verification, no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • TB screening (Positive PPD or IGRA with negative chest X-ray and annual questionnaire)
• Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Criminal background check, EPLS, and other standard verifications as required
• Education verification relevant to clinical work
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Professional references (at least two)

• Signed assignment agreement and onboarding documentation
• Completion of onboarding education and training modules
• Resume/profile submission
• Driver’s license or state ID verification
• Compliance with all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements
