Job Opportunity: IR Lab RN (Interventional Radiology Nurse)
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Full-time position in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab
- Required experience: 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Work schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 4 days per week
- On-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute response time
Required Credentials & Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Must be AHA certified
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Must be AHA certified
- Current nursing license with primary source verification (Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start)
- Pharmacology exam (minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years)
- Specialty exam in Interventional Radiology (minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years)
- Color Vision test (updated every 3 years)
- Core Competencies training (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics; minimum 80% score, updated yearly)
- EKG exam (minimum 80% score, updated as required)
- Fit Test (annual respiratory protection fit testing)
- Immunizations and health requirements including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination documentation
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal, exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Varicella (two vaccines or immunity verification, no declinations accepted)
- Tdap (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- TB screening (Positive PPD or IGRA with negative chest X-ray and annual questionnaire)
- Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- Criminal background check, EPLS, and other standard verifications as required
- Education verification relevant to clinical work
- Employment verification for the past seven years
- Professional references (at least two)

- Signed assignment agreement and onboarding documentation
- Completion of onboarding education and training modules
- Resume/profile submission
- Driver’s license or state ID verification
- Compliance with all facility-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements
