Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a 10-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 RN to patient ratio
  • Patient population: Adolescent to Geriatric, Level III Trauma
  • May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
  • Arterial line experience required
  • EPIC electronic health record experience required
  • Charge nurse and preceptor abilities are a plus
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle
  • No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
  • No 48-hour guarantee for this assignment
  • Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications:

    • New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
    • Active American Heart Association BLS certification
    • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
    • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (highest required years of experience)
    • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • Compliance:

    • All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance and uploaded accordingly

Additional Notes

  • No schedule changes or time off requests will be approved after offer acceptance
  • Must include permanent address in profile
  • Facility is a 169-bed regional referral center in southwestern New Hampshire
  • Location offers access to outdoor activities such as hiking and scenic tours

This position is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who are comfortable working nights in a fast-paced trauma setting and who meet all licensing and certification requirements for New Hampshire.
