Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
- 33-bed cardiovascular care unit
- Patient population includes STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, congestive heart failure (CHF), noninvasive ventilation, post-cardiothoracic surgery ICU patients, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, etc.
- Patient ratio: 1:4
Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience: At least 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) experience required
- Float experience to Med/Surg or ER to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds is required
- Flexibility required; no block scheduling
- Required certifications (not specified) preferred but applicants without active copies may still be considered
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
- On-call pay provided with minimum 1-hour payout
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted pay rate
- Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends
