Job Description

• Clear oral communication and comprehension skills, including listening, speaking clearly, and deductive/inductive reasoning.
• Ability to write clearly and use technology such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Strong concentration and ability to multitask effectively.
• Manual dexterity to manage IV tubing, syringes, and other medical equipment.
• Ability to recognize patterns in numbers, pictures, words, and perform medication calculations.
• Sensitivity to cultural and spiritual influences impacting patient care.
• Efficient time management with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of current Critical Care Unit (CCU) experience (required).
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required.
• EMR Experience: Prior experience with Cerner preferred.

Unit Details

• Critical Care Unit with 12 beds.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 4:1 to 2:1 depending on patient acuity.
• EMR system used: Cerner.
