Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Night shift position in Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience required.
  • Work history must show at least 24 months of current Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
• Licensure:

  • Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Skills:

  • Must have EPIC EMR experience.
  • Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline required.
• Other:

  • Driver’s license required.
  • Professional references from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or equivalent within the last 24 months preferred.
• Travel Experience:

  • First-time travelers accepted; prior travel experience is not required.
