Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Summary
This entry-level position works under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor to achieve initial competencies in delivering specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services. The role supports medical staff in diagnosing, caring for, treating, and monitoring simple to complex conditions in adult and/or pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centric care under routine or emergent conditions across various care settings (acute inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic/urgent care, remote clinics).
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to meet clinical and operational goals.
- Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures within scope of practice.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality meet department protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Skill in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and reliably report to work as scheduled.
- Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
- Accuracy in record-keeping and handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task, remain calm under stress, and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Initiative, effort, and commitment to efficiently complete assignments.
- Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology related to cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies.
- Ability to apply core-level specialty theory and techniques to perform and analyze study data with general supervision.
Education Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher.
Required Certifications & Licensure
Must hold one of the following certifications:
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- ARDMS - Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography
- ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography
- ARRT – Radiography
- CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
- CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
