Experience Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required
- 2 years preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
Certifications Required
- National Certification (NBSTSA and/or NCCT) preferred
- ARRT or RCIS preferred
- ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., NIH Stroke Certification for Interventional Radiology)
Work Details
- Shift: To be discussed during interview
- Weekend requirement: To be discussed during interview
- Floating: Yes, clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within 20 miles
- Block scheduling: May be accommodated but not guaranteed
- Locals accepted at same rate
- Pending license not accepted
- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts, 30 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
- Call requirement: Based on unit needs, discussed with Nurse Manager

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting required prior to start (no starts with fingerprints pending)
- Proof of I9, E-Verify, and government-issued photo ID required
- Physical exam within 6 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Required vaccinations or titers: Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel plus nicotine within 1 year
- Seasonal flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- COVID vaccination series or approved exemption required
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
- State license primary source verification within 30 days of start
- National certification verification within 30 days of start
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
