Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Job Description

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Patient population: Adult-Geriatric.
• EMR system: Epic.
• Dress code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos).
• No shift accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) will be considered.
• Must be willing to float to Thompson Unit and Kingsbury custodial patients as needed (higher patient ratio, lower acuity).
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• Local travelers (residing within 50 miles) will not be considered.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks.

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience (required).
• EPIC experience (required).
• Must have a New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (required).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (required).
• Must include permanent address in profile.
• All medical/occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
• Cover page (if available), work history, and skills checklist (Medical Surgical, current to 1 year) required.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required.
• All Return to Office (RTO) and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; no scheduling changes will be approved after offer.

Additional Notes

• 48-hour guarantee is not available for this assignment.
• No orientation hours required.
• OT and holiday multipliers apply.
• Facility uses Epic EMR.
