Job Description

Work setting: Outpatient clinic
Required experience:
- 1 year ambulatory experience
- 18 months outpatient experience
Common diagnoses encountered:
- BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia)
- Bladder Cancer
- Kidney Stones
- Urinary Retention
- Cystitis
Common procedures performed:
- Flexible cystoscopy
- Vasectomy
- Lupron injections
- Bladder irrigation
- Bladder chemotherapy
- Indwelling catheter management
- Suprapubic catheters
Equipment used:
- Vital sign monitors
- Flexible cystoscope
- Point of care urinalysis
Types of insurance accepted: Various (not specified)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care within the last year
Experience in an outpatient setting
Ambulatory care experience
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
