Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - Echo (Days)

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate ultrasound equipment to create detailed images of the heart.
Perform and analyze echocardiograms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring cardiovascular conditions.
Explain procedures to patients and maintain/operate ultrasound equipment.
Maintain patient records and collaborate with cardiologists.
Participate in ongoing education.

Requirements

Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or CCI (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer) [Required]
Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography (echo tech) experience [Required]
Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
Local traveler policy applies for candidates within 35 miles of the facility.
Work schedule is days.
