Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

As an ER nurse, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Identifying medical issues and determining their severity
  • Providing immediate support to minimize long-term negative effects
  • Sustaining life when necessary
  • Acting as one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room

Requirements

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
  • Experience: At least 2 years of ER nursing experience (required)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Recent traveler experience preferred (not required)
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Oklahoma State Nursing License or compact license
    • BLS (AHA)
    • NIH Certification
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • PALS (AHA)
    • TNCC (Preferred)

Additional Information

  • Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
  • On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum hour guarantee
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
  • Non-compete policy applies for former direct employees of the facility (6-month waiting period before agency placement)

This position offers the opportunity to work in a regional referral center providing comprehensive emergency care in Southwest Oklahoma.
