Description

Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Operate as primary/secondary circulator in the Cath Lab (no scrubbing)
  • Equipment experience required with:
    • Artis Zee C-Arm
    • Impella
    • IABP
    • Acist Injector
  • Patients/scans per day: approximately 4
  • EMR system: EPIC CUPID (highly preferred)
  • Scrubs provided (light blue)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab (required)
  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele (required)
  • Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract within the last 12 months (prior travel experience required)
  • NO first-time travelers

Certifications Required

  • Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission (required)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) (required)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) (required)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certificate (highly preferred; can be obtained during onboarding)

Additional Requirements

  • Skills checklist specific to Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele discipline (required)
  • Professional reference or performance evaluation within last 24 months (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Notes

  • NIH stroke certificate can be obtained during onboarding (preferred)
  • Must be able to quickly respond to interview requests (phone/text from a 405 area code)
