Job Opportunity: Cardiovascular (CVL) Tech
Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy for daily procedural caseload.
- Provide emergent care as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
- Ensure procedure rooms are prepared and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Floating between departments or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 1+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording duties.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment (prior travel experience required).
- Preferred: 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology procedures experience.
Education
- Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
- Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program
- Radiology
- Respiratory Therapy
- Paramedic program
- Surgical Technology
- OR four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Certifications & Licensure
- RCIS or RCES certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
Additional Requirements
- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
