Job Opportunity: Staff RN - Telemetry (12 Hours Day Shift)
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of telemetry experience
- Basic Arrhythmia certification required
- IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license valid in Pennsylvania
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- PALS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Basic Arrhythmia certification
- DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination series plus booster or completed declination
- MMR immunity proof (vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
- TB test within one year of start date
- Varicella immunity proof
- Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
- Other Requirements:
- Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
- Physical/Health statement within one year of start date
- National criminal background check within one year of start date
- Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC) within 60 days of start
- Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score)
- Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80% score)
- Prime Skills Checklist
- Prime Color-blind test (annual)
- Prime Criminal Background Check
- Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
- Prime COA (not required for per-diem)
- Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport
- Prime OIG check
- Prime Agency Attestation
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
- References: Two professional references required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience
- No explicit requirement for prior travel experience
Shift Details
- 12-hour day shifts
