Job Description

• Provide general Medical-Surgical nursing care.
• Charge nurse responsibilities required.
• EMR system used: Soarian.
• Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided).

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent MedSurg experience within the last year
• Experience in charge nurse roles with demonstrated charge skills

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation.
• Government-issued photo ID (color copy required).
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
• Residency declaration form (if working on a compact license).
• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually.
• Education verification (diploma or transcript accepted).
• NURSYS verification for RNs.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• TB testing: QGold or TSPOT within 30 days of start (no PPDs accepted).
• Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season unless approved medical/religious exemption.
• Fit test completed onsite at no cost.
• References: Two recent supervisor/manager level references required.
• Skills checklist and competency exams must be updated annually.
• Facility-specific HealthStream modules must be completed prior to start.
• Photo for badge required within 24 hours of signing.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location; otherwise, pay rate adjustments may apply.
• Fingerprinting requirements apply for Georgia; candidates can start with results pending but must complete within 30 days.
• Flu vaccine deadline: November 21st; no declinations accepted without approved exemption.
• Facility dress code must be reviewed by candidate.
• Various facility-specific forms and agreements are time-sensitive and must be completed promptly.
