Job Description

• Shift:

  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Call Shifts: Required to cover 2 call shifts per month
• Ratios:

  • Days: 1:8
  • Nights: 1:6
  • Weekends: 1:2
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Operating Room (OR) cases
• Special Equipment: Siemens DR rooms, Philips GI room, GE c-arms, Carestream portables
• Skills Required:
  Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, Operating Room, Pediatric Outpatient, Abdomen decubitus/supine/upright, Chest routine, PACS, Orbits, Skull, Ankle, Calcaneus, Femur, Foot, Knee, Patella, Tibia-fibula, Toes, Trauma lower extremity, C-Arm procedure, Isolation Precautions, Cervical Spine, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Thoracic Spine, AC joints, Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Humerus, Scapula, Shoulder, Thumb or finger, Wrist

Required Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • EPIC experience required
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Additional Certifications (as required by unit):

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable)
• Tech Certification Verification: Required within 30 days of start
• Primary Source Verification: State license verification required within 30 days of start

Experience & Travel Requirements

• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• First Time Traveler: Accepted
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles radius
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 1 week RTO allowed during contract

Health & Compliance Requirements

Candidates must complete the following health-related requirements and lab work within 5 days of signing the contract:

• Physical Exam (within 1 year)
• Fit Mask test (within 1 year)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year)
• TB Questionnaire (in lieu of annual TB test)
• Immunizations:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug Testing (within 30 days of start)
• Flu Seasonal Vaccination or signed declination (during flu season)
• Eye Exam (Snellen, within 1 year)
• COVID vaccination copy preferred but not required

Background & Documentation Requirements

• Government Issued Photo ID required
• 7-year Criminal Background Check (including felony checks) within 3 months of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 3 months of start
• Foreign Equivalency Education Evaluation if applicable
• Education Verification from primary source required
• Transcript/Diploma if no education verification on file
• References: 2 references within 3 years (for Aya candidates)
• Employment Application required
• Skills Checklist required annually
• Work History Verification: at least 2 past employments verified

Facility Specific Requirements

• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Completion of facility-specific modules and attestations prior to start

• Open to accommodating block schedule but not guaranteed

This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an X-Ray Tech with at least 1 year of experience, comfortable with OR cases and a variety of imaging procedures, and ready to work a weekend-heavy schedule with call responsibilities.
