Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience.
• Must be comfortable working with NICU patients in a Level II NICU setting.
• Position involves floating between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart (College Station and Bryan).
• 12-hour day shifts, every other week (EOW).
• Call is not required.
• May be asked to precept new staff as needed.
• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience.
• Active Texas Respiratory Therapist License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC (Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) not accepted).
• Current certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Additional Information

• Candidates must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable.
• First to float between campuses as needed.
