Description

Job Opportunity: RN (Registered Nurse) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Lufkin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Labor & Delivery unit with 45 to 65 births per month (busy in the summer)
Team includes 5 OB Physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
No circulating C-sections required (OR staff handles that)
Responsibilities include care for well babies, postpartum mothers, and labor & delivery patients
Shift: 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, every other week (EOW)

Required Qualifications

Current RN license in Texas
BLS Certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Labor & Delivery (based on typical L&D experience requirements and job complexity)
