Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call

Job Description

• Perform ECHOs and TEEs
• Must have experience with Epic system within the last 12 months (detailed on profile)
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Sonography/ECHO)
• Must hold one of the following certifications:

  • CCI (RCS) or
  • ARDMS (RDCS)
• BLS certification required

Prior Travel Experience

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• Government-issued photo ID carried during hours of service
• I9 and E-Verify compliance required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (or chest X-ray within 5 years if past positive)
• Annual TB questionnaire required
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (no declinations or exemptions accepted)
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist as applicable to profession/specialty

Additional Requirements

• EPIC test-out required for all candidates (one attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation)
• N95 Fit Mask test within 1 year of start, updated annually (no PAPR allowed; failure results in contract cancellation)
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties, suitable for Echo Techs/Cardiac Sonographers with at least 1 year of experience and current certification. Epic system experience within the last year is mandatory.
