Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire

Job Description

• Provide quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients in the Radiology Department.
• Responsibilities include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management of patient nursing care within:

  • Diagnostic Radiology
  • Special Procedures
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Ultrasound
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Mammography
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Must be prepared to handle unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures.
• Develop clinical protocols, policies, and procedures related to radiological interventional procedures, patient monitoring, and drug administration.
• Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members.
• Familiarity with patient’s bill of rights and ability to seek assistance to ensure individualized care.

EMR System: Epic
Dress Code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)

Required Qualifications

• License: New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License (must be uploaded with profile)
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) – Active
  • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Active
• Minimum 2+ years of current experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU (this is the higher required specialty experience)
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment (strongly required)
• Must include permanent address and any requested time off (RTO) at time of application; no scheduling requests accepted after offer

Preferred Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Experience in Conscious/Moderate Sedation considered
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred (not required)

Additional Information

• No block scheduling accommodations will be considered.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
• Facility does not consider local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility.
• All medical compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
