Job Opportunity: Temp Technologist - X-Ray (Days)

Location: West Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work approximately 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
• May float across multiple campuses within the system
• Average of 10 scans per day
• Use of Siemens fixed equipment, Carestream portables, GE OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-Arm required
• Surgery room and surgery fluoroscopy experience required
• Experience with all age groups (shift dependent)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months (2 years) of current X-Ray experience, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting
• Active Iowa Radiology license required (non-licensed applicants may be considered due to IA Radiology turnaround time)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist / X-Ray discipline required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Valid Driver’s License required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcomed; prior travel experience is not required
• Orientation dates available early March
• Professional references from within the last 24 months preferred
