Job Description

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Current RN license in good standing (Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Completion of specialty-specific competency exams and assessments (e.g., Ascension Specialty Exam, Ascension EKG Exam)
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online portion prior to start; on-site portion at orientation)

Experience

• Specialty: RN ICU
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 2 years ICU experience (standard for ICU travel RN roles)

Health & Safety Requirements

• Proof of immunizations/vaccinations:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)

• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter

Onboarding & Compliance

• Completion of required onboarding modules and attestations prior to or at start
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 30 days prior to start
• Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start
• Annual updates and re-verifications as required for ongoing compliance
• Valid driver's license or state ID (must match address requirements for compact license if applicable)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of Ascension Core Competencies and NIH Certification
• Documentation of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
