Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient

Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Specialty: Outpatient Occupational Therapy
• Department: OT - Outpatient
• Patient Load: 9 to 12 patients per day
• Patient Types: General outpatient orthopedics; preference for pediatrics or hand therapy
• Setting: Outpatient only
• Coverage Area: Marshfield Center

Requirements

• Licensure: Must have Wisconsin state OT license or be in the final stages of obtaining it (provide target issuance date)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of OT experience including internships
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Skills: Evaluation, treatment planning, re-evaluation, manual therapy
• Nice to Have: Dry Needling, Pediatrics, Certified Hand Therapy, Neuro, Lymphedema experience

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Some flexibility in hours to complete 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday requirements

Orientation & Onboarding

• 2-day department-specific orientation including CBTs and shadowing
• Manager meets new hires on the first day

Additional Information

• Must complete credentialing process; delays in onboarding may push start date by 30 days
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Business casual dress code
• Support staff includes appointment coordinators and rehab aides to assist with patient flow and equipment maintenance
• If previously employed at this facility, must have a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
