Job Opportunity: RN Med Surg Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Waco, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
  • Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with healthcare team members.
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Required Qualifications

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current RN license valid in Texas (Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start).
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.

  • Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment, updated annually.

Additional Professional Requirements

  • Driver’s License/State ID (must be current and valid).
  • Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile).
  • Two professional references.
  • Criminal Background Check (including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender).
  • EPLS (Exclusionary Party List System) check within 90 days of start.
  • Education Verification (within 90 days of start).
  • Employment Verification (past 7 years).
  • Confirmation of Assignment documentation.
