Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Orientation sessions available on multiple upcoming dates.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license for Iowa.
- At least 2 years of previous step-down nursing experience required.
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- Work history/resume and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local exceptions apply with rate adjustments).
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Will float to Emergency Department (ED) as needed.
Additional Information
- OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
- Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
- Charge/Precept pay available
- On-call pay available
