Description

Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours each
Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM
Rotating weekends
Standby call and holiday assignments as needed
Floating between multiple units or locations based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Radiology Technician
Experience working in a clinic setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Background checks including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, and state-specific caregiver screening (WI)
Education verification as applicable to specialty
Drug screening per Vaya standard (clinical candidates)
Physical exam (Aya standard)
Immunizations and health documents including:
- TB testing and questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or exemption
- Varicella vaccination or exemption
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination form
- Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption (annual requirement)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
- Meningococcal vaccine or declination (if applicable)
Facility-specific forms such as caregiver screening and BID form (Wisconsin state mandated)
Photo for badge (passport-style, no headwear except for religious/medical reasons)

Testing & Competency Requirements

Telemetry testing (Adult and Pediatric) as applicable, with strict passing criteria and remediation process
Medication and pharmacology competency exams as applicable
Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication depending on specialty
Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
National certification verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration (as applicable)

Additional Notes

Floating assignments may require working in different units or locations during the contract
Renewal plans for certifications must be finalized by the 15th of the month prior to expiration
Candidates must comply with all facility and state-specific requirements prior to start date
