Job Opportunity: Temporary Respiratory Therapist (Nights)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the respiratory therapy discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime after 40 hours.
• Orientation occurs every Monday.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• License: Iowa Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Special Skills:

  • Experience with Draeger or GE ventilators required.
  • High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) experience required.
  • Experience in PICU and NICU settings required (may float to these units).
• Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Completed skills checklist within 1 year of application.
  • Work history/resume, license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
  • Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel contract completed (prior travel experience preferred but not required).
