Location: Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

• Position: CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Night
• Specialty: Cardiac ICU (Open Heart experience required)

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid RN license for Ohio
• Experience: Open Heart ICU experience required (minimum years not explicitly stated, assume at least 1+ year ICU experience)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Skills:

  • Completion of specialty-specific competency testing within the last year
• Health Requirements:

  • Fit Test (e.g., N95 mask)
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening (within last 5 years, or 1 year if from certain states)
  • 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• Vaccinations:

  • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption (booster proof required through Sept 2025)
  • MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof required)
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (for upcoming flu season)
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
• Background Checks and Compliance:

  • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county, last 7 years) within 30 days of start
  • Drug screening and various professional verifications (license verification, education verification, exclusion lists, etc.)
  • Signed forms for code of conduct, confidentiality, integrity, conflict of interest, and system access
