Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days)

Job Description

• Work in a brand new hematology/oncology outpatient clinic that opened recently.
• Average patient load: 12-15 patients per day.
• Team includes 2 Nurse Practitioners and 3 MD providers.
• Required specialty skills: Phlebotomy, Injections, Port Draws, Chemotherapy education.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Oncology experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting (required).
• Port competency experience (required).
• Phlebotomy experience (required).
• Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission (required).
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• EPIC (Beacon) experience strongly encouraged.
• Skills checklist specific to Oncology/Clinic/Chemotherapy required.
• Professional references within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers will be considered only if they have at least 24 months of oncology experience (highly preferred).
• Orientation dates available: March 23 and March 30.
