Job Opportunity: RN Med Surg Tele (Telemetry I)

Location: Waco, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
  • Coordinate care across all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

  • Current RN license in Texas with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.

Certifications

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience

  • Specialty: RN Telemetry I

  • Employment Verification: Third-party verification for past 7 years, updated annually.
  • Education Verification: Completed within 90 days of start.
  • Professional References: At least two professional references prior to first assignment.
  • License/Certificate Verification: Current and verified within 30 days prior to start.

Additional Requirements

  • Driver’s License/State ID: Must be current and valid.
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements and various professional attestations and checklists must be completed prior to or at start of assignment.
