Description

Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Op

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

License: Valid Iowa RN license.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Skills and medication knowledge required: Heparin, nitro, levophed, dopamine, amiodarone, blood administration.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Not employed by the facility’s health system in the last 12 months.
Required documentation at submission: work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, copies of certifications, and one supervisory reference.

Additional Information

First-time travelers are eligible to apply.
Call back and holiday pay multipliers apply.
Charge/precept pay available.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with prior travel contract experience looking for a temporary assignment in PACU/Pre-Op nursing.
