Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (CVOR) - Travel/Contract

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)


Unit Details

  • Weekend rotation: To be discussed during interview
  • Call: Yes/variable; typically one weekday call every week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks
  • Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years in specialty
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
  • Holiday Work: If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it; if 2 holidays, expected to work both; if 3 holidays, expected to work 2
  • Major Holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
  • Full compliance required to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to orientation schedule
  • Locals accepted at same rate

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
  • ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit before final manager approval
  • Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
  • Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
  • Privileging specialties (such as CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant and RNFA) have additional compliance and documentation requirements

Prior Travel Experience

  • No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are accepted
