Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 3x12 hour days (7 AM - 7 PM), possible 4x12 hour shifts (48 hours) option
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Registered Nurse)
First-time travelers: Not accepted
On-Call: As needed
Weekend Requirement: As needed (no weekend block schedule, but weekend block may be considered)
Locals: Not accepted (100-mile radius rule)
Pending License: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: All RTO requests must be included at time of submission; late requests handled with unit manager/scheduler

Preferred Experience

Experience in a large hospital setting preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
Photo for Badge: Must meet strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no hats, no glasses glare, no filters, taken within last 6 months)
Competency Exams: Must be current within 1 year and updated annually as required
On-Call and Weekend: Required as needed, flexibility expected

Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
Candidates must be fully compliant with all licensing and credentialing requirements before start.
Large hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory.
This is a travel contract position with a 13-week duration.
