Radiology Technician Travel Job - Maryland, Silver Spring

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), with on-call duties
  • On-Call Requirement: Must be available for at least 7-9 days of on-call per month
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: Radiology Technician
  • License: Valid Radiology Technician license for Maryland
  • Certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Fit Test (for respirator use)
  • Health Requirements:
    • Current physical/health statement certifying fitness to work (within last year)
    • Required immunizations/vaccines or documented exemptions:
      • COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
      • Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of vaccination required; titers not accepted)
      • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (seasonal)
      • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
      • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening
  • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
  • Background Checks and Verifications:
    • Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county, last 7 years)
    • Social Security Number verification
    • Education verification (highest level of academic education)
    • Exclusion screenings (OIG/GSA, EPLS, OFAC, NSO)
  • Other Requirements:
    • Signed confidentiality, code of conduct, integrity, conflict of interest, and audit services forms
    • Skills checklist and job description signed and uploaded prior to start
    • System access form completed one week before start
    • Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission
