Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Job Description

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients according to professional nursing standards and organizational policies.
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and others under direction.
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
• Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, verification must be less than 30 days old.
• 2 years recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• 2 years experience working with stroke patients (must be listed on resume).
• Must be willing to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted. Vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
• Resume with all gaps over 30 days clearly explained.
• 2 supervisory references (1 within the last 6 months, 1 within the last 12 months).
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline, less than 1 year old.
• Active certifications at time of submission or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of accepting an offer.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Candidates may request time off equivalent to 1 week of their contracted hours during the assignment.
