Job Description
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services. This is a travel assignment requiring flexibility with weekend and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license credentialed by the Florida Board of Respiratory Care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA required)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and PALS preferred
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must be current and meet state-specific requirements)
Experience
- Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum standard for specialty (typically at least 1-2 years)

Health and Compliance Requirements
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)

- Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccination (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- Tuberculosis screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit testing for respiratory protection (annual requirement)
- Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
- 12-panel drug screen completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- Criminal background check, employment verification, and education verification as per agency standards

- Onboarding includes completion of specific respiratory therapy contract worker education and attestations
- Core competencies and skills checklist must be completed and updated annually
