Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
EMR system: EPIC
Orientation available on specific dates
Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply
Charge/Precept pay available

Required Qualifications

Minimum 24 months of ICU / Intensive Care experience
Minimum 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele experience
Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC)
Driver’s license
Skills checklist specific to Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele discipline
Prior travel experience required: must have completed at least one travel contract in the previous 12 months
Experience with EPIC EMR system

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Philips monitoring equipment
NIH Stroke Scale certificate (can be obtained during onboarding)
Recent professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months

Additional Information
