Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
  • EMR system: EPIC
  • Orientation available on specific dates
  • Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply
  • Charge/Precept pay available

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 months of ICU / Intensive Care experience
  • Minimum 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele experience
  • Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Driver’s license
  • Skills checklist specific to Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele discipline
  • Prior travel experience required: must have completed at least one travel contract in the previous 12 months
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Philips monitoring equipment
  • NIH Stroke Scale certificate (can be obtained during onboarding)
  • Recent professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months
