Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehab

Location: Taos, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Physical Therapist position primarily in outpatient rehab with some inpatient duties.
  • Schedule may be Sunday through Thursday; a 4x10 schedule is preferred if possible.
  • Local candidates must be within a 75-mile radius.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety manuals.
  • Submission of professional photo for badge.
  • Completion of TB questionnaire prior to start.
  • Signed confidentiality, code of conduct, behavior standards, and other facility policy acknowledgments.
  • Employment application/resume with 7-year work history including locations, dates, and gaps.
  • Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
  • Competency exams and core training modules with passing scores required prior to start.

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • Candidates must be prepared to comply with all health, safety, and background screening requirements.
  • Orientation and training materials must be completed before starting the assignment.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient rehab setting with some inpatient exposure, supporting patient recovery in a community-focused environment.
