Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Work hours: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Orientation sessions available on multiple dates throughout the year.
May float to Emergency Department (ED).

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license.
At least 2 years of previous step down experience.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
NIHSS certification.
Valid Driver’s License.
Work history/resume.
Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
License verification.
Copy of required certifications.
One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome.
May be required to float to the Emergency Department.
Night shift position.
Call back and holiday pay multipliers apply (details not included here).

This position requires clinical expertise in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
